Background:

My grandpa was a very ambitioned semi-pro photographer of whom I got the passion from I think. He owned great cameras like a Mamiya 645 1000S, a Linhof 220, a Rollei35 and more.Thus, I learned my basics, I think. But you never stop learning.

I started with a Praktica from former GDR and after that I became an Nikonian with a F301. I made my serious step into the world of DSLR using the Nikon D70s. Actually, I am using the D7200. But still, I am using my analogue cameras from time to time.

Taking a picture is a very sensual experience. The moment the release is activated never comes back, the frame chosen, the situation frozen is only there and then and seen by the one behind the camera.
